Animal: IELTS Speaking Introduction Questions With Answers

Question 1: What kind of animals can be seen in the area where you live?

In my country, it is forbidden for ordinary people or regular people to own wild animals because they are very dangerous. They’re Tanzanian symbols. Outside the country, we are popular for having a series of tigers, which are only located in Tanzania, so the government implement the law to ban people from possessing wildlife animals. However, people are allowed to possess normal animals like cats, dogs, goats, etc.. When you visit my country, especially my city and hometown, you see a variety of animals that we biologically identify as herbivores. These animals eat glasses, so here we have a lot. Everyone can have them because it is just normal animals which are not as dangerous as those that eat meat. Still, a few animals eat meat like dogs, but the authorities allow it because it is not as hazardous as wildlife animals such as lions.

Question 2: What kinds of animals are common in urban areas?

In my country it is challenging to observe herbivore animals around the city area, especially inside the centre because they are not enough space for them to be accommodated due to the fact that there are a lot of buildings however you can see those carnivores animals which are considered safer and easier to them to adapt humans life such as dogs and cats, when you come to urban area in my country you can observe a lot of residents over there who are living with dogs and cats and especially dogs which are more popular for security purpose than cats who are famous for luxury and in some few families are considered as a family member.

Question 3: What types of animals can you find on farms in your region?

Most of the farms in my home town are located in Rural areas so like I have said before in my country rural areas are famous for having herbivores animals like cows and goat so in the farming area there you can see two types of animals which are very likely to be found there one is dogs for the security purpose. The second is cows, which are used for production reasons. They help in cultivating for the people who are not good enough to buy tractors, which are two different things: one is a machine, and the other is an animal. Still, they share the same function: both can carry raw materials and dig the farmland.

Question 4: Do you have a favourite animal?

Although I’m not an animal lover, I still own a dog inside my house because it keeps me company when I’m sometimes alone. The way it plays around reminds me that I’m not alone, so I can say the dog is my favourite animal in some circumstances.

Question 5: Why is it your favourite?

To be honest, I like dogs for security reasons. In case you’re tired and just back from the job, you can sleep confidently and peacefully just because you believe your house is protected by someone loyal to die for you. That animal is a dog. I have seen a lot of real-life stories of a genuine relationship between dogs. It is the owner, so my dogs can do whatever it takes to keep my property safer than I could.
