Sample Answer Your local city council has decided to pull down the oldest building

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my disagreement over the decision that you made to demolish the old museum due to the financial crisis.

This is the only oldest museum in my region. It is a museum of historic relics. Besides, my area is known for it. Though it is an ancient and fragile building; however, it has a treasure house of old weapons, coins, and ancient books, and to name but a few.

It is a useful asset for posterity. It can make future children aware of their rich history, culture, and what’s more, it will familiarize them with the drawings that were engraved by Edward Rooker, a well-known artist.

Instead of demolishing this building fundraising campaigning can do much to cover the financial problems. Furthermore, maximum donors are from the local area. I have talked over the phone with my good wishers to assist financially to save this building and they have assured me to give necessary help. A plausible entry ticket can also help a lot because earlier there were no entry fees to visit it.

I hope you will reconsider your decision by considering the benefits of this museum.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours Faithfully,
