Sample Answer of Describe a Place You Visited on Vacation

Well, I am a travel freak, and I visited numerous countrysides of my country India. I have always been a mountain person. On that note, I visited Sikkim last winter. It was a spellbinding trip of 20 days. I don’t clearly remember the exact date, but it was in May 2019. The weather was really frosty there. I visited the place with my family, which includes my parents and my brothers. And it was an astounding experience. Visiting a mountain region in winter was really a turbulent task.

It was extremely chilly and snowy everywhere. I still remember one thing that we were visiting the place for the second time. So we didn’t go sightseeing. Instead, we spend some time with the local people, and my father wants to know their lifestyle and food habits for his research. We visited a village and decided to spend the entire afternoon with them. The people there were so humble and gave me an Idol of their god while saying bye to them. It was one of the most memorable incidents.

Apart from this, I really liked the gelid pond, which was situated near to our staycation, which was a super fun experience with my brothers that we ran through the superficial surfaces of the glacier pond and lay down for a few minutes before frostbite.
