Sample Answer of Describe a Positive Change in Your Life

I’m sure we as people bring in positive and negative changes to our lives now and then, but let me elaborate on one that changed my life completely. The first time I migrated to a different state, after completing my education, five years ago. Initially, I was thrilled to experience a new culture and make new friends. Very soon, I realized that I was going to be all by myself. Since I have lived an overprotective life in a shell, it was difficult to become independent for me out of the blue.

Right from cooking to cleaning, running my errands, doing laundry, driving, and forgetting that I went there to work. I was absolutely terrified to be living on my own. I had never lived such a life because I lived with my family, and chores were equally divided amongst us. However, I realized that it was for my good, and it changed me as a person as time passing by. I became independent, confident, more aware of things going around me like grocery or fuel prices and learning how to fix the car. I am so grateful for that opportunity in my life, or else I’d still be in a cacoon.

Follow-Ups  Describe a positive change in your life

Question 1:- How is your country changing?

Answer – In many ways. For instance, the current government’s top priority is child education other than providing subsidised fuel and farm produce rates. Besides, the youth is taking over the country, so a new positive approach is what I’m looking forward to seeing.

Question 2:- What changes have smartphones brought to our lives?

Answer – In fact, I think it’s a nuisance. The pressure to always be available for people at work, friends, and family has had ill effects on me. In retrospect, I was happier without having been surrounded by the harmful rays it emits.

Question 3:- Do you think people working from home would be a positive change?

Answer – I’d agree to that. For working mothers, it could be a positive change. However, it can be intimidating for some individuals because they have to be available for their families, attend to their children, and work simultaneously.

Question 4:- Do you think people’s work in the future will be heavily affected by technology?

Answer – From my perspective, it already has. Robots have taken over in Japan. Work has digressed to machines so as to save time, work efficiently and comparatively faster than humans.

Question 5:- Compare the pace of technological progress in the past and the present?

Answer – Ahh! That’s interesting. In the past, technology was limited to audio calls, for instance, but today we’ve progressed to video calls. Moreover, Robots were limited to some jobs like in the labour industry. Still, now Alexa and cleaning the floors also have robots doing the job, so basically, a robot can do housekeeping. Quite unexpected!
