In my country, the wedding season is the best time to showcase your creativity with clothes. Ethnic clothes are a vital part of our culture and people enhance their beauty with matching jewellery and footwear. My favourite would hands-down be a saree and I get really excited when I get an opportunity to wear one.
So, a year back my cousin brother was getting married and it was the perfect time for me to wear a saree. I went shopping with my mum and we bought an exquisite silk saree from a popular boutique called ‘Mahawar’. It was black in colour with a golden border, just how I wanted it to be. I loved the delicate pattern that was present on the border.
On the wedding day, I draped it beautifully and it looked wonderful! I wore earrings, which are tomb shaped earrings and golden bangles. The entire attire looked stunning after that. Everyone praised my choice and the way I had assembled all of it so well. They even inquired about the store from where I
had purchased the saree. I was really happy and proud of myself.
Later after the party, I folded it and kept it in mum’s Almira, so she’d get it dry-cleaned.
