Well, doing things collectively or individually give great pleasure to a person. I feel very happy when I do things like projects and seminars with others. Here I would like to speak about a time when I did a play with my other classmates.

Those were the days of my college when I took a party in a play. It was King Lear’s Play written by Shakespeare. The Play needed more than three characters, so we were four characters in the Play.

To be honest, we took a month to prepare ourselves like the characters in the Play as it was difficult to remember some lines of the Play in the Spanish language. But we were very happy because we did well and got the second college position.

This thing builds up my confidence, and now I don’t feel shy but take up challenges that I confront in my life too. I think playing anything with others gives confidence and other social skills people develop, like leadership qualities, tolerance, and a feeling of brotherhood.

Also, people have become more expressive, which is hardly seen nowadays. All in all, this was the thing I did with my batchmates.

I love to do group activities as they are more productive, and we can engage more people and get maximum output as a result. I also like to work with individuals also on certain occasions when it’s related to creativity.

Here I am going to talk about an activity I did with a group of people. It was organising a cultural fest in our college, and it was something that bonded me with the whole university and various departments.

So I am a leader in my group, and our professor asked me to join the committee to organise a cultural fest as they wanted every department to participate.

I was given the responsibility of registering names and coordinating them with the main event. My friends also joined me and supported me on each and every step. We spent the entire week doing various tasks, from bookings, and selection, to helping students with their performances and many more.

We started this work before a month of culture fest and worked for the entire period as it was so interesting we didn’t even realise it. We all were highly motivated. Last week was a little tenser.

We spent late nights on the university campus, having our Lunches and dinners while working till we made it a grand success. Working together gives me more motivation and energy.

An individual can do something, but a group can do many things together. So we all friends jumped together in this activity and ensured our college celebrated the cultural fest the best way. At last, we learnt many things about organising and management. So working together is like a musical when everyone is in tune.

Question 1:- How do you get along with your neighbours?

Answer 1:- Well, I am very polite as well as affectionate with my neighbours. I don’t face any trouble with my neighbours and also make them comfortable in my company.

Answer 2:- We can get together on some occasions and festivals like in India; the Lohri festival is celebrated around a bonfire, and all neighbours get together and celebrated the festival with each other and give gifts. If you are new comer, always find an opportunity to introduce yourself to the neighbours.

Question 2:- How do neighbours help each other?

Answer 1:- Neighbours help each other by giving money if one has a need or also standing by them in the face of difficulty. The classic example is corona times when people support infected families by giving them food and other grocery items.

Answer 2:- Some friendly neighbours share dinners, minimising the effort it takes to cook. For example, a neighbour who borrows a few vegetables may come back with a plate of vegetable soup that the vegetable helped create. Also, when they need you in their bad times, you could give financial help to them.

Question 3:- Do you think neighbours help each other more often in the countryside than in the city?

Answer 1:- Well, neighbours in the countryside are more helpful as they don’t see their own profit, but the people in the cities are a miser, and they see their profit. The reason might be expensed because in cities everything is costly, but in villages, people grow their own vegetables and crop, so they don’t need to spend more on these things.

Answer 2:- Definitely, because in metropolitan cities, everyone is busy with their own life. They do not have time to help or even look at other people and do not know each other. In contrast, in villages, people have a very strong bond with each other, and they help each other without any expectations.

Question 4:- How do children learn to cooperate?

Answer 1:- Well, children learn to corporate if they are trained at home as well as at school. They are given group projects so that they can work with others and learn these things easily.

Answer 2:- Doing household chores together starts at an early age. Let your child grow up experiencing the benefits of cooperation. Together you can set the table, clean up toys, or wash the car. Also, teach them the advantages of cooperating.

Question 5:- Do parents think parents should teach children to cooperate with others? How?

Answer 1:- Yes, parents consider that children should cooperate with others, and they can cooperate with others by sharing their work and helping others in their work. Moreover, they can also learn cooperative skills when involved in a play or group project.

Answer 2:- Yes, because kids learn what their parents do. When parents go to do social work, they can take their kids along with them. The more your children help others, the better they do in life.

Question 6:- Do you think it’s important for children to learn about cooperation?

Answer 1:- Yes, children must learn about cooperation because if they don’t learn it, they will face adjustment problems, and nobody will like their company. They will feel isolated, so it is a must for them.

Answer 2:- Teaching children the art of cooperation makes them realise the importance and value of teamwork, develop trust with others, and build social skills. It teaches them the value of listening to others and showing patience during a conflict.

Question 7:- How does not cooperating with others affect the children?

Answer 1:- Not cooperating with others can have a negative impact on children’s social and emotional development. When children refuse to cooperate with others, they may miss out on valuable opportunities to practice important social skills, such as communication, empathy, and problem-solving. This can lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness, as well as difficulties in forming meaningful relationships with peers. Additionally, a lack of cooperation can result in conflict and tension within social groups, which can further exacerbate these negative effects. Ultimately, not cooperating with others can hinder children’s ability to navigate the social world and may have long-lasting consequences for their overall well-being.

Answer 2:- Social skills are an essential life skill that many children lack. Children who struggle with social skills often have difficulty making friends and are rejected by their peers. They may also have trouble getting along with teachers and other adults at school.

Question 8:- What are the benefits of group learning for the students?

Answer 1:- When students work in a group, they learn essential skills such as confidence, patience, and a feeling of brotherhood. And these things are vital in their future career because they will face no problem adjusting either in their own land or overseas.

Answer 2:- By sharing space and knowledge, a child is introduced to new ideas, skills as well as other innovative ways of thinking.
