Factors affecting work performance. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart gives information on the various factors affecting job performance in a workplace between two different age groups.

Overall, as can be seen on the chart, the major factor affecting work performance between ages 18 to 30 was the chance for personal development. The last reason was the working environment. At the same time, the second age group’s main factor affecting work output was job security.

The factor that affects job performance majorly between the age group 18 – 30 years is the chance for personal development, which accounts for 90% approximately, followed by a relaxed working environment and promotion prospect, which account for 80%, respectively. In contrast, the least reason for job performance is a work environment, with approximately 30%.

Compared to the other age group, 45 to 60 years, the main factor contributing to job performance was money which was approximately 70%. Similarly, both age group has 60% attributed to teamwork and 30% to work environment, respectively. Meanwhile, job security accounted for 20% of job performance as the least in this age bracket which is 10% lower than the age group 18 to 30 years.
