Question 1. What is the most popular festival in your country?

I live in India, and here different religions people live that why several festivals are popular. However,
Diwali, new year, eid, independent day are considered as most famous.

Question 2. What is your favourite festival?

My favourite festival is lights day Diwali. It is also the new year by the Hindu lunar calendar. On Diwali, I like to eat sweet dishes made by my mom and meet friends and family as well as relatives.

Question 3. Is it important to celebrate traditional festivals?

Well yes, the traditional festival is paramount, history connected with it, however, I think celebrate the festival and cherish time is also important in this busy life.

Question 4. What’s the difference between your traditional festivals and western ones?

Traditional festivals are connected with religion and have a history behind them for celebration, while Western festivals indicate Western culture and their people tradition. Famous western festivals are Christmas, Halloween, etc.

Question 5. How do people celebrate public holidays in your country?

There are different ways and approaches to celebrating; some like to enjoy the holiday with family members or with friends. Sime people whose financial condition is good they like to celebrate the holiday on outside the country.

Question 6. What special food and activities do you have for these festivals?

On Diwali, we decorate the full house with lights at night and eat sweet dishes. People meet friends and relatives, and children enjoy crackers.

Question 7. How do people in your country celebrate the New year?

In my country, we celebrate the new year on Hindu lunar as well western culture new year. People like to celebrate the new year with friends and family members, and some also prefer to go foreign country and celebrate there.

Without any questions, yes, I celebrated every new year; it is fun and a new beginning.

Well, yes, past few decades, western culture influence is seen in my country. People celebrate different
western festivals, and even I celebrate Christmas in my house.
