The line graph illustrates the information about inquires get by the tourist information Center through later, e-mail, telephone, and by a person in one city within a half year in 2011.

Overall, the number of inquires by telephonic call and by person rose dramatically throughout six months, whereas an inquires through email or later declined gradually over a given time span.

It is interesting to note that, inquires made by a person to the tourist information office stood at around 400 at the initial time period which was the lowest number than others. This number increased rapidly throughout a six-month time period and in June it reached one of the highest inquiry mediums, with around 1900 inquires.
For the telephone inquiries, around 900 inquires were received by the tourist information office in January these figures showed a slight fall till February but after that, the inquiry made by telephone were climbed up rapidly and by the end, it reached 1600 in June. However, the opposite trend is shown for letter or email inquires. In January, around 750 emails received by the tourist information office this figure decreased slightly till March and after that, this figure felt rapidly, and from May to June around 400 inquires received through email.

Dear …………………,

SAMPLE ANSWER :

Dear Judith,
I received your reply today and thank you so much for agreeing to help me when I’m on vacation in Alberta. I’m so grateful you could spare your time to take care of my little puppy – Bruni and my home for a week. I thought of writing to you to give you some further details on what I need you to do and to let you know how to contact me during this week’s time.
The main task is to feed Bruni twice a day and to clean his litter tray daily. In the morning with milk and pet food and in the evening around 6.00 pm with normal water and pet food. The milk can you can find in the fridge and pet food on the top rack of the kitchen cupboard. Pls, keep the milk out from the fridge for half an hour before you give and do not mix sugar as Bruni doesn’t like sweets as much as me. Both food and milk feeding bowls are under the kitchen table.
Further, it would be great if you could put some water twice a day to my flower pots in the lobby and to empty the trash bin in the kitchen to the street waste collection bin on the coming Friday, so that the council people will collect.
If you need to contact me for any reason pls do not forget to ring my mobile. it’s working 24/7. I have put a sticky note on the fridge door with my mobile number and the address where I’m staying in Alberta in case of any urgency.
See you soon in a week and I really appreciate your help and kindness. Take good care.
With love
Jenny

Academic /General Writing Task 2

You should write at least 250 words and spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Hand-writing has become less formal, and it is done in a more relaxing way, now than in the past. What are the causes? There are more advantages or disadvantages?

SAMPLE ANSWER:

Over recent years handwriting has been replaced by electronic letters in a speedy way.  This is due to the rapid development of technology, and the changes in human lifestyles. But there are pros and cons in both handwriting and electronic writing which will be discussed in the below essay.
There are several factors for the higher interest and usage of electronic letters. With the development of the communication methods, people started working more using typewriting, telegraph, and internet which led to the decline of the art of writing. This has developed more in the era of millennials where they tend to deliver official or nonofficial letters and messages via emails or in printed forms other than writing down and mailing. But the handwritten messages are sometimes used for casual notes and also as lecture notes.
On the one hand, using electronic letters has many upsides; such as easy to write long texts, accurate, professional appearance, time-saving, and easy to read.  These are downsides in handwriting as the letter styles are different from person to person and some cannot read properly. Also, it is difficult to correct after you have written whereas its easy in electronic writing. The software can be used in electronic writing to improve accuracy automatically, but in handwriting, this is a demerit. Therefore many people used to accept electronic writing without second thinking as it would be a huge relief for them with their busy lifestyles.
However, writing still has its merits in many aspects. It activates more parts in your brain than electronic typing. Recent research done by the PEW Research center in the USA has mentioned in their findings that writing by hand can be rhythmic, therapeutic, and calming. It also can jumpstart a person’s creativity. Therefore, handwriting is crucial for a child’s development as when they start writing by hand, it leads them to improve their reading skills faster. Furthermore, still, there are folks who enjoy receiving a handwritten letter by post from their loving once which they can keep as a memory whereas they will not get such an impression in receiving an electronic letter.
In conclusion, I believe there are both upsides and downsides of using both handwriting and electronic letters But it is important not to underestimate the benefits of handwriting no matter which era we are in.

SAMPLE ANSWER:

Health should be the first wealth for everyone. Being healthy is not a goal, its lifestyle. Nowadays we can see more people are interested in their health, maybe bcos of this pandemic situation and also most of them have gained weight due to lifestyle change these days.

Today I’m going to talk about an article I read online a few weeks ago about how to become healthy and fit while staying at home which I was really looking for. The article was on a Facebook page named “weight loss Guru”. It always posts valuable articles for the members to read and act and many of the followers have got good results as well.
This article was a very long one, but it contained a lot of important advice. it has mentioned clearly on how we should control our diets and how we can do simple exercises while staying at home with our families. most especially it has given some diet programs separately covering all ages and for both genders. This made me really easy to select and follow my dieting schedule as I also wanted to lose 10 kgs asap. Also with each diet, it has given the calorie amounts and the benefits of each food item to your body; that made everyone have a good understanding of what you eat and how it will be benefitted. Separate items have given for vegetarian members as well. The excersice methods given were easy to do daily and it covers the whole body and there are images of how to do it as well.
I followed the steps, both the diet which relevant for my age and weight and also the simple exercises are given and I feel that I love the way they are as I feel much more comfortable than before. I’ve seen recently that many followers have put positive comments on this article with their results. So I strongly believe that it’s a very good article and I recommend it to others without thinking twice.
