    General Writing Task 1

    Dear Mr. Robinson,

I am writing this letter to make a request to you to pay monthly rent late. I am hard up these days.

I would like to let you know about my situation which has made me write to you. You have been very good and polite to me. Besides this, you have provided all the amenities to me. So, it is my responsibility to tell you that I cannot pay monthly rent.

It is really a great disappointment for me because during lockdown I lost my job. So, it is a herculean task for me to make both ends meet. I searched a lot for a new job even though I am ready to do work on daily wages; but I remained helpless to get employment.

I have been living on rent since 2012 and I did not delay to pay monthly rent. So, by keeping all these things in mind, would you accede to my request to pay the rent two months later. Hopefully, I will find a job.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours Sincerely,

    General Writing Task 2

Youngsters have radical new ideas compared to their parents as well as grandparents. They are innovative, full of beans, more adventurous and fully equipped with modern technology; however, the other two generations have orthodox nature and lack of knowledge about culling edge technology. So, definitely, problems like their relationships will not be strong enough and more old age homes will emerge.

At the outset, young person’s like to argue on every issue with their parents or grandparents illogically. They have not seen life in its true colour. On the other hand, the parents and grandparents have seen many ups and downs in their life and with their experience; they give advice to their young ones. So, it creates tussles between the generations and their relationship gets weak. For example, youngsters like to spend money lavishly on shopping. They believe in eating, drinking and marrying whereas the other two generations have earned money with their sweat. So, discussions over these matters make their relationship weak.

Furthermore, when there is no compatibility in the ideas of youngsters as well as parents and grandparents; then, youngsters feel it hard to live with them. Thus, the matchless ideas create problems between them, parents feel more dejected and alone. For example, modern youngsters think technology is all in all. It has a solution to every problem; while parents with their experience teach them valuable lessons but are often discarded by the youngsters. They consider their parents orthodox and have obsolete ideas. Thus clashes in ideas between them made the parents realize their value and they shift to an old age home.

In conclusion, the generation gap creates a lot of problems and these problems are harmful for the smooth running of the life of both youngsters and parents.

    Speaking Cue Card
Well, it has been many times, when I told a lie to my friend just to surprise her. It was the time when I arranged a grand party for my friend secretly and did not tell her. It was the day of her birthday. As we have been childhood friends and are more attached to each other. We try to make each other happy by giving such kinds of surprises. On her birthday, she was on the seventh heaven and expecting birthday wishes from me the first. I knew it, but I did not wish her. This thing really disturbed her because she could not expect such kind of behavior from me. The whole day was spent but the clock struck 9 at night. I revealed my surprise and she really cried bitterly as she was annoyed with me since morning. When I gave her a beautiful watch along with the cake. She was over the moon. We enjoyed it a lot and she thanked me for giving such a beautiful surprise. I think such kinds of surprises are necessary to make relationships strong.

  2. Most of the people argue that high remuneration in the job is essential than job satisfaction. However, I believe that the benefits of job satisfaction outperform a huge salary in any job. Let me outline my insights in the following paragraphs.

Wholeheartedly, in the current trend, many of us tend to look for high-paying jobs to fulfill our financial commitments or goals rather than choosing a work that is quite interesting as well as giving us a sense of satisfaction. For instance, in India, a recent report has clearly shown data showing 9 out of 10 people in corporate jobs with high salaries hate what they do at work. The foremost important thing to note here is their level of balance between work and life but it is not possible only with a huge amount of income. The other side of this argument showcases many examples in the paragraph below.

On the other hand, job satisfaction in what has invented plenty of fantabulous things: right from electricity to safety pin, of course, on this earth. Take Thomas Alva Edison, for example, many of his discoveries came to light only because he worked relentlessly towards his goal of inventing something. Since he immersed himself in the job he did, he was successful and still remains in everyone’s house. Many successful people always decided to work for job satisfaction instead of the perks they get from the job. A realtime example, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar can be told as the best example of this kind, because he chose his career over studies to achieve his dream of becoming a big shot, and eventually he has done that too.

In conclusion, I completely disagree that a big salary is important over job satisfaction because job satisfaction has a huge impact or the society and gave far benefits on the whole during several centuries than high-remuneration jobs.
