Fossil fuel, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, is extensively used in many countries that cause harm to the environment. The use of alternative sources of energy, including wind and solar power, however, is being encouraged in many countries. Is this a positive or negative development?

Many developing and developed nations use non renewable energy sources such as coal,fossil fuels and natural gas that leads to environmental pollution and global warming .However, many nations realized the bad effects of non renewable sources of energy and shifted their interest to renewable sources of energy. I wholeheartedly think that this positive change for all of us.
To begin with, many nations already understand the negative impacts that non renewable sources bring to the environment. So they just shifted their interest to wind and solar power, Keeping the positive effects of renewable energy in mind they already started installing windmills and hydroelectric power plants. For instance, countries like Denmark, France are producing electricity from wind mills and it costs them much cheaper. Also,This is a secure way of generating electricity that does not cause any harm to the environment. This is a very positive development that others need to follow to be more happy and healthy in life.
Additionally, the major benefit of using renewable energy is that there is no carbon emission and is cheaper to produce energy than to import coal and oil from other nations. As we know OPEC and USA are petroleum exporting countries and their oil is in abundance. But with the increase in population,consumption is increasing every year and sources are decreasing, with that import price is increasing every year.So more and more nations automatically came up with the idea of using renewable sources as it costs them less.Another benefit is that it helps the environment from disposable waste.Similarly,Tesla firm came up with the idea of electric cars that is great step towards the environment protection. Admittedly, everyone is working towards greener and healthy nations.
To sum up, even though we degrade and pollute the environment too much but now some nations and firms already came forward and take measurable steps to keep the healthy environment.It is expected that ,in future more and more countries invest in alternative sources of energy and makes the nations more stronger and provides everyone the affordable energy
Fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas is used on large scale in various countries that cause harm to the environment. There are some alternate sources of energy to overcome from these problem which gives positive impacts on development and I will cast light on the same in writing that follows.
To begin with, consumption of coal release smoke and harmfull gases. For example; brick furnace release large amount of smoke and harmfull gases which cause high death rate of birds and other harmfull effects to our environment. Moreover, usage of fossil fuels in automobiles also release harmfull toxic gases which is not healthy to environment as well as human being. For example; Delhi is most highly polluted city as per many surveys because of consumption of coal, fossil fuels by automobiles and industries.
Beside this, usage of alternative sources of energy has been more beneficial to the development in many countries. For example; usage of Cng gas , electricity in automoblies to decrease the pollution on large scale and give beneficial impacts to our environment. In addition, solar energy is more profitable in multiple purposes and help to develop countries . For example; solar energy used in various purposes like to generate electricity at free of coast.
To wrap up, alternative sources of energy more beneficial and give healthy impacts to our environment and save life of birds and animals.
