  1. The table illustrates attendances of students studying in four different secondary school between 2000
to 2009. Units are measured in percentage.
Overall, the community schools recorded the highest attendances in 2009 at 58% while attendance
gradually dropped to 32% in 2005 till it reached the lowest percentage at 12% over time.
On the other hand, in 2000 Voluntary controlled schools rose significantly to 52% whilst in 2005 dipped
down to 38% and in 2009 went down to 20%. Whereas in 2000, Grammar school recorded slightly lower
of 24%in students attendances and in 2005 declined gradually until it reached the lowest percentage of
12%. In Contrast, specialist schools recorded the least attendances of students in all the years at 12%,
    11% and 10% respectively.

  2. This essay clearly agrees with the statement that humankind who reads for pleasure develop their cognitive skills rather than humans who prefer watching Television and it presents logic with supportive examples.

Firstly, reading books is beneficial than watching television because it provides an active learning for learners while the latter is a passive one. Reading can greatly enhance people’s imagination. For Instance, individuals make different images in their mind when they read some articles and then use their imagination to put the story together whereas the TV audience just passively accepts information from the TV screen.

Furthermore, reading contribute a lot to language skills, it begins the journey through one’s language development stages and opens doors to all kinds of new worlds for people. Reading and writing are important ways we use language to communicate.

On the other hand, watching television does not develop a person’s skills in high level thinking, spelling, vocabulary or recognition of word.

Finally, reading relaxes the body and calms the mind. In recapitulation, l will reiterate by saying that reading is undoubtedly better than Television not only in developing language skills and imagination but also in many other ways.

  3. Listening to music activate every part of the brain. It makes you hopeful, powerful and take control of life. Besides, it makes you smarter, happier and more productive. There are very few occasion when l did not like the music and get irritated because of it. I vividly remembered it was my best friend wedding ceremony in Lagos – Nigeria. I was super excited about the event and eagerly waiting to dance to my favourite song. My friend has arranged the best music system for this occasion as he knew that we all are dancing freak. My excitement went down when a strange music was played. I stylishly left the dancing floor and returned back to my seat.

Some people subscribe to the belief that reading helps enhance language skills and creativity, whereas watching television does very little for these abilities. Personally, I support this opinion for several reasons, which will bd laid out in this essay.

People use books for text to convey ideas and quite often there are no images or illustrations to picture the scenes described in the book, therefore, we have to use our own imagination while reading. While, reading the books the individual can learn many vocabulary words and helps to learn new language and the people can learn a way of writing method also. For instance, while reading the comics books they can imagine the picture of cartoons in their mind. Hence, while reading the people can boost their mind while making imagination of that story.

Furthermore, the people can learn the sentence structure also and the write use of the words which is use on their right way. So, while reading the books people can learn each and every thing but there is an effective thing the people can make imagination also in their mind. For example, for the students that is necessary to read the newspaper, comic books, novel and magazines that should be good for children because they can learn many things they can be a good reader and they can enhance many knowledge also.

To conclude, reading the books can make imagination in our mind but while watching the television it doesn’t made a imagination because in that people can hear and watch videos. So, while reading people can enhance many knowledge.

There are some events in which I didn’t like music due to the different culture as there are many events in which the people belong to Haryana and from Rajasthan. So, that’s why I do not like the music of Rajasthan and Haryana because I belong to punjab culture and I like most Punjabi music. So, here I will like to share my one event in which I do not like music and that event was marriage of a girl who was our neighbourhood and there was many events on her marriage and there was one program which was ladies Sangeet at their home and I was went with my mother which was too boring because there was no d.j system and there was only the system the ladies were singing own their own self and that was too boring. Furthermore, on the next day there was a marriage day and I was too happy that today there will be a good music in marriage but again when I went to the palace there I listen the tone of harayanavi songs only. All other things were good in that place and the arrangements were also good but only the music was not good. As well as, I feel to much boar on that day. So, I taught my that day was wastage day and that was the event when I do not like the music as I like ho listen only Punjabi songs but Sometimes I like to listen English songs also but that was my first marriage when the songs were not shuffle to the another tone.
