Many people believe that media coverage of celebrities is having a negative effect on children.

To what extent do you agree.

Sample 1:-

It is irrefutable that every field of the world is covered by media. Media is a great source of information and keeps us up to date with national and international news. However, most of the individuals think that it has a more downward effect on children’s lives and I agree with that, it put some bad impact on kids.

First of all, children indulging in activities such as drinking, smoking, crime and so on because they saw their favorite start to performing such kind of things in movies. So as a result of it, they just start to imitate them. For instance, in the movie “SHARABI” a well-known celebrity ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ had shown to taking alcohol in the whole film so he influences the youth and they start to follow them.

Furthermore, printing media as well as, electronic media show the personal life of film stars in which they show how they live a luxurious life and their family relationships. Because of it, kids attract most with their life so they spend a lot of money on buying expensive clothes and accessories which they do not really need it. Sometimes, for fulfilling this desire they go as try and enter in the world of crime.

To conclude, media is quite useful for information but nowadays it has some adverse effect as well, such as harm the moral values, high crime rate, uneducated and so on.

Sample 2:-

It is irrefutable that the dynamics of the media are changed quickly over time. The celebrities are extensively covered by media. A group of persons thinks that the media coverage of the whole lifestyle of celebrities put the bad impact of juvenile’s lives. I quite agree with this statement. because there are several reasons for it. I will explain some causes in the following paragraphs of this essay.

The first and foremost reason is that children love celebrities as their role model. They follow the lifestyle of their favorite stars. As a result of it, offsprings indulge in bad activities such as drinking, smoking, consumption of drugs and so on. Because such as actions are the part of a famous showbiz’s life. So, kids see it and adapt it in their real lives.

Secondly, some film stars have been indulging in wrong things such as crime, Casanova, and use of faux language. These things put a negative effect on the minds of juveniles. For instance, a Bollywood actor named Sanjay Dutt has followed by many persons in India but he was doing the wrong things. He had illegal weapons as well as he used faux language in his movies. He has also punished by the law of India, imprisonment for five years. His followers did the same as he did.

Moreover, TV shows are also a part of the media’s coverage. These reality shows make sure to children that they can become a star overnight. Due to this,  do not concentrate on their studies. They always make efforts to be a film star and they leave their families behind to become an actor or actress. However, the media also covers the interviews of film stars in which they tell us about the difficulties of their lives which they faced during the journey of being a famous person. So, this thing describes to kids that hard work is instrumental to reach a peak of glory.

To conclude, It is undeniable that children follow the lifestyle of their favorite actor or actress whether they are good human beings or devil. We cannot totally vanish it but we could reduce it to some extent. According to my perceptions, parents ought to put bound on offsprings to watch television in order to decrease the negative influence of media coverage on them.
