Question 1:- Do you like reading?

Answer 1:- Well, I am crazy about that. As an introvert, reading is the most alternative way to get updated and express me in privacy.

Answer 2:- Yes, I like reading. I like to read stories and novels, especially in my free time, because reading such books makes me feel relaxed and is the best way to pass one’s time.

Question 2:- Do you read electronic books?

Answer 1:- With the advent of technology, it is evident that I have to read online daily due to the characteristics of distant learning during the covid 19 pandemic. Although I have a deep hatred for reading e-books or anything online since I have shortsightedness, I have nothing but to read study materials online.

Answer 2:- Yes, sometimes I read electronic books; it happens when I travel, and I don’t have any printed books; otherwise, I prefer to read the latter kind of books because I feel stressed about my vision if I read books online. Also, there are more pictures in printed books.

Question 3:- What kind of books do you like to read?

Answer 1:- To be honest, I am not kind of picky reader; therefore, I have various taste buds for books. But the one that fulfils my interest is autobiography because I can have the chance to reincarnate the author to experience his/her life and also deepen my insight into history.

Question 4:- What was your favourite book as a child?

Answer 1:- Fairy tales and myths genres, obviously, are my bedside books since they tell me meaningful stories about moral values of life and wrongdoings that I shouldn’t do.

Answer 2:- My favourite book was virtues versus vices, and this was a great story that tells people to know about good qualities as well as bad qualities and how to improve them, so it was a motivational book that I still love to read more. 

Question 5:- Have you lent books to others?

Answer 1:- Frankly speaking, I am still doing this because this is the most economical way to chew and swallow as many books as possible. Especially in universities, exchanging study materials is a must-do thing to obtain enough knowledge for the upcoming tests.

Answer 2:- Well, yes, of course, I do it because in future I might need any book that the other might have so I don’t hesitate to share reading material with anyone because knowledge is such kind of thing if we distribute it through books to others we indirectly enhance our knowledge.

Question 6:- Have you borrowed books from others?

Answer 1:- As I said, I have been doing this; when I was an undergraduate, asking for others’ books was obvious since every class had different materials and in order to get a high mark in the exam.

Answer 2:- Yes, sometimes I borrow, but now, due to advancements in technology, it is very simple to download any kind of book by paying small charges, and people can take a printout of that or either they can read online, so I rarely ask from others about books.

Question 7:- What is your favourite kind of book to read?

Answer 1:- I would say that I have no definite interest in any particular book, as I want to try out new types to have a novel idea about different aspects of life.

Answer 2:- Well, my favourite book is to read novels. I love to read novels because novels are full of imagery and pictures, variations in languages and a lot of cultures involved in them. In this way, we learn about human psychology and how people can escape their suffering.

Question 8:- Do you often read newspapers?

Answer 1:- That used to be my hobby regularly; however, now, only by surfing social media can I know any piece of news inside out, even the hot potato in other countries around the world.

Answer 2:- Well, I am not a regular reader of reading newspapers. I generally do this at weekends. I read news online because reading a newspaper one needs a lot of time, so due to scarcity of time, I sometimes skip it but continue it at weekends.

Question 9:- Do you read professional books?

Answer 1:- Although I detest reading socio-economic or science-related books, those are of great importance for my study on a daily basis. Therefore, I have to digest them in an uncomfortable way.

Answer 2:- Yes, I love to read professional books also. Professional books like healthy outlook, survival techniques and easy steps to success. These kinds of books are beneficial in altering a person’s decision and turning a person into optimistic.

Question 10:- What books did you read as a child?

Answer 1:- When being knee-high to a grasshopper, I had no exposure to books, except for textbooks, since I was quite hyperactive and tried to play pranks on other people instead of acquiring knowledge from books.

Answer 2:- I read many books like fairy tales and Vampire Diaries as a child. Ghost stories entertained me more. I find these things very interesting, which have made me fearless.

Question 11:- Do you think it is essential to encourage children to read?

Answer 1:- Of course, it is certainly essential because it can help foster children’s analytical thinking and behave well in the outer environment. In addition, this can be a beneficial way to create some good characteristics for them at an early age.

Answer 2:- Yes, it is very important to encourage children to read books because if they read books, they can enhance their knowledge, entertain themselves, and improve their linguistic abilities. Moreover, they will pay less attention to electronic gadgets that can harm them due to overuse.
