Recycle Part 1 Questions With Answer: IELTS Speaking Test

Question 1:- Do you recycle? Why/why not?

Answer 1:- Yes, I recycle as I have learned to believe in 3Rs in school, i.e. Reduce, Recycle and Reuse. So, if we recycle the waste materials and reuse them, it can help reduce the waste materials, thus protecting the environment and preserving nature.

Answer 2:- Yes, I like to recycle things to avoid the wastage of things and save money.

Question 2:- What do you recycle?

Answer 1:- There are many everyday things found in the household to recycle and reuse, such as bottles, cartons, plastic bags and newspapers. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now, and it has become a habit. It gives a great sense of contentment and fulfilment to do this activity and do our part in preserving the environment.

Answer 2:- I like to recycle different things like plastic bottles for keeping plants or refilling water, cardboard, and newspaper.

Question 3:- Do you always try to recycle paper and plastic?

Answer 1:- I try to recycle paper more often than plastics. Recently, the government imposed a ban on plastics, so we hardly use anything made up of plastics nowadays. But it is essential to recycle these products.

Answer 2:- Yes, I love to recycle plastic things to do creative work, use them as flower pots, or make designs.

Question 4:- What is commonly recycled? What products?

Answer 1:- Aluminium Cans, Phone or Gadgets Batteries, Clothes, Cardboard Cartons, Cosmetics, Crayons, Mattresses, Newspapers, and Plastics bottles are some of the most commonly recycled products I can think of at the moment. Also, these products do not need any special treatment as they can be easily recycled and reused.

Answer 2:- The most recycled product is newspaper because it is available in every home.

Question 5:- Did you learn to recycle when you were a child?

Answer 1:- Yes, I learned this concept in my primary school education, and also we were taught how to recycle by teachers who gave us work assignments and practical demonstrations. Also, during those days, I used to love creating artwork, so I used to make the best out of the waste and participate in some competitions.

Answer 2:- No doubt, I liked to recycle things when I was a child because my favourite teacher, Mr Kakkar, taught me the importance of things.

Question 6:- Why have people’s attitudes towards recycling changed over the last several years?

Answer 1:- As the awareness regarding the environmental impact started spreading among the people, they started realizing the recycling benefits and started identifying ways to recycle and reuse the waste materials.

Answer 2:- In the last decade, people are avoiding the wastage of things to protect the earth from pollution.

Question 7:- Do you think recycling is important?

Answer 1:- Recycling is a part of waste management, and it is necessary to be aware of it and execute this process to avoid a negative environmental impact.

Answer 2:- Yes, recycling is essential to protect the environment because when people throw wasteful things on land or sea, it affects both sea and land creatures because if they eat stuff by mistake, it will result in their death.

Question 8:- Will you keep recycling in the future?

Answer 1:- Yes, of course, I am aware of the importance of recycling and would continue to do it. In fact, I would like to promote this and spread the importance of this to all the remote areas as well. I will try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.

Answer 2:- In the future, I will recycle different things like polythene bags for shopping and use bottles to grow plants in the house.
