Should the Success of A Country Be Measured in Terms of The Standard of Living of Its People or In Terms of Its Economic Development? State Your Opinion.

People have different opinions about the country’s development. Some natives think living as a high-profile person is a sign of a country’s progress. However, economic growth is essential. I agree with those who believe that economic development plays a crucial role in a country’s betterment.

To start with, various reasons demonstrate the fundamental role of economic growth for a nation. Firstly, a healthy economy provides jobs and higher salaries, so netizens do not need to leave their country to earn their bread and butter and improve their lives. Secondly, economic progress can provide better public infrastructure. For example, authorities with a strong economy can invest more in the education system and public services, which can inspire natives to stay in their hometowns and give their best to their nation.

Moreover, A territory with a good economy can provide a better environment. For instance, the government can spend more towards providing a better environment. Presently, many birds and animals are becoming extinct; to save them, the authority can spend money on conservation to protect the natural environment. Another way to a nation’s success is to measure the health and happiness of its residents.

In conclusion, the economy plays an essential role in a country’s progress. But other factors, such as health, the environment, and the happiness of natives, are also equally important.
