Sample Answer: Some People Believe that Increasing Business and Cultural Contacts Between Different Countries Has Positive Development

Increasing business and cultural contact between countries has been central to global debate for several years. Some argue that increasing business and cultural interaction between separated sovereign states results in a positive development, while others disagree. This essay deals with arguments for and against this controversial issue. I believe keeping in touch with different nations boosts the tourism industry; on the contrary, this issue has problematic consequences, such as moral decay within the community.

On the one hand, frequent contact between countries regarding culture and business has led to an influx of holidaymakers between them. I consider China’s mainland and Tanzania relationship a good illustration of this due to the high number of tourists with Chinese passports around Tanzania, especially in the northern part, where it is popular for game reserves. Furthermore, the highest volcanic mountain, known as Mount Kilimanjaro, is also situated there, and vice versa is true when you visit a famous city in southern China called Guangzhou, you will witness vast Tanzanians with different visas on hand walking majestically.

On the other hand, cultural and trading contact between states resulted in a decline in moral standards in society. A significant number of negative behaviours have been rising day after day as people, when meeting new people, tend to copy their lifestyle. For example, my friend who went to the USA through a culture exchange program and stayed there for a year and month returned from abroad in a different manner as per Tanzania standard because he was drinking heavy alcohol and smoking marijuana because he considers it normal as he used to do it when he was in American, and nobody ever questions about it.

To recapitulate, some people argue that increasing business and cultural contact promotes positive development, while others think that is totally wrong. Speeding up the tourism sector is the best positive outcome; on the other hand, this facilitates moral loss in the country. Despite fully acknowledging the negative impact of culture and business interaction, I believe its positive effects outweigh the negative results.
