Some People Believe that To Give Opportunities to The New Generation Companies

Some people believe that to give opportunities to the new generation, and companies should encourage high-level employees older than 55 to retire. Do you agree or disagree?

One section of the society reckons that furnishing the right set of circumstances to the latest technology organizations should motivate old-age staff to opt for retirement. I completely agree with this idea of promoting next-generation companies to look for a young, exuberant workforce to empower the company and the workers. In the following paragraphs, I will state my views by citing some examples.

Firstly, the new corporations always work on state-of-the-art tools and technology along with innovative work approaches. This methodology requires proficient knowledge of current and future technologies. To flourish in this work culture, one should have an open and adaptive frame of mind that could be easily recognizable in the younger generation compared to the older ones already working on legacy technology. For instance, a newly graduated Software Engineer would always try to learn new tools and equipment and creative solutions to keep oneself one step ahead in the competition compared to an elderly worker who has a rigid mentality.

In addition to the above argument, next-generation institutions have a strenuous work routine and cumbersome tasks set up for the day. This certainly shows that the employees should also be in their fittest era to compete against this tedious schedule, which would be laborious for someone above 50. Therefore, this work atmosphere will require an employee with a tenacious attitude and a sustainable mindset. For example, in the manufacturing industry, if someone aged 55 would be informed to work on heavy machinery throughout the day, this would risk that worker’s health. In contrast, young mechanical workers can efficiently finish this task.

In conclusion, providing suitable occasions to newly established companies, like young professionals having substantial knowledge about the latest generation devices and methods, will encourage older employees to plan for retirement, and it seems evident from the above arguments that it would be difficult for them to cope with this new environment.
