Some People Prefer One-on-one Lessons While Others Like Groups

Some people prefer one-on-one lessons while others like groups. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In recent years, study patterns have massively emerged and evolved. Few people are inclined towards an individual or private teaching method; however, some prefer group studies. This essay will discuss both the views and argue in favor of the latter.

On the one hand, certain demographics of society like to study lessons one-to-one with their teachers. They believe that they can study as well as concentrate more by this methodology. Furthermore, advocates of this idea trust that many students hesitate to ask queries in group studies, but they would be very comfortable talking with their lecturers in private. According to a survey conducted at the University of Berlin states that students more often prefer to talk to their mentors in person instead of meeting in a group. Thus, some people are of this opinion.

On the other hand, many people prefer to study with mates. They think that students feel more convenient and easy when sailing with others on the same boat. Additionally, they argue that sometimes it becomes boring or monotonous to study individually as students need someone to talk with. In India, principals have observed that students usually make friends, and they love to socialize with them. Therefore, they are inclined to group studies.

In my opinion, the main advantage of studying in a group is students can meet other students and get clarification about many basic things such as syllabus, books. Moreover, they can also find buddies with a common interest that can help both personally and professionally. Also, Private tuitions by some tutors are very costly compared to group classes.

To conclude, both types are good and can be preferred according to the need. Though, in my view, the advantages of group studies far outweigh those of one-on-one studies.
