Today I would like to talk about an old thing which my family and I have kept for a long time, and it is a set of bangles made of pure gold. My Grandmother gave it to my mother during her marriage.

My Grandmother received it from her mother-in-law on her marriage. This tradition is continuing for ages; My mother always wears it. This set of bangles is stunning and has an old traditional design. It adds to the beauty of my mother. My Grandmother had passed away in 2015, and it always reminds us of her.

Now, I got married in 2011, and my mother gave this precious thing to my wife. Now my wife wears it on special occasions. When She wears it, everyone praises her beauty. This set is so beautiful that some friends of my wife made the beautiful bangles of the same gold design because it is made of pure gold and has no impurities. So it still shining like a new set. It is very precious for our family and a symbol of love.

I think it depends on stuff or items, and sometimes old things are better because it has an emotional connection and made by superior quality. However, new things are Morden, price us also high than ancient stuff.

As u said, jewellery is the most common things, especially in my country India, people also keep books, watch etc. For instance, my friends family keep his ancestors watch for long times.

People pass the beneficial things for next-generation, such as a watch, we all know how paramount is times, and we can learn it from watching. Additionally, jewellery, house or properties and most pivotal experience also pass down from one generation to other.

Why do you think people keep these things?

Some have an emotional connection while it reminds us of our ancestors and past, like evoke. Some precious thing is also succour family on their critical situation such as jewellery when family struggle to a financial situation.

Do you think it’s good to recall the past?

Definitely, yes, erudition of past aid to handle the present situation and live better situation, sometimes history also repeats itself and has insights that enable us not to repeat past mistakes.
