Structure of writing Task 2 ielts exam tips for students

The definition of the word ‘essay’ a short piece of writing on a particular subject or expressing personal views, itself explains that the paragraphs. In ielts exam, we write should only be focusing on a single topic or subject,Though there are many types of essays to define, the things or the points which are explained in the paragraphs are more or less the same so,instead of learning various types of essays in the early stages, it is always better to understand, what which and when we need to elaborate an essay.

If we take an overall look at the essays, it can be divided into 3 different paragraphs:-

1. Introduction

2.Body Paragraphs

3.conclusion

Through the question types are different, the way of writing an explanation of each sector is the same. Therefore, better to learn step by step, before identifying the types of question:-

1.Introduction

In the case of essays, the introduction is the “head of a body”. Basically, it should explain the question to be answered in a different approach. A proper introduction includes:-

General statement related to the topic to be discussed and it should have a direct connection with the question. The paraphrased question it should be the continuation of the general statement but should be a paraphrased question along with rephrasing and use of synonyms. your point of view

What your opinion or approach towards the question,(if asked to express) should be given in this section.

Important note:- There are numerous ways to write a good introduction, by simply following a format of someone, who has expressed his own way of writing. But always remember, it is always necessary to be “you” to stand out of the queue. So, whatever is expressed below is a way of making you be “you”.

Question statement:-
1. A growing number of people feel that animals should not be exploited by people and that they should have the same rights as humans, while others argue that humans must employ animals to satisfy their various needs, including uses for food and research.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

The topic of discussion: -animals rights and need of its exploitation.

So, the general statement should be related to this topic.

General Statement:- The role of animals in various aspects of human life can be denied by no one.

Now, connect this general statement with the paraphrasing sentence.

Paraphrasing statement:- But many animals lovers, by considering the rights of those, assert that the exploitation should be stopped as opposed to the view of others, who think is the opposite way.

Our point of view:- Connect the former sentence with our statement.

As such is the scenario, I intend to discuss both the stated arguments to reach a fair conclusion of mine.

  1. Blood spots have become a hot topic for debate in recent years. As society develops, it is increasingly seen as an uncivilized activity and cruel to the helpless animals that are killed. All blood sports should be banned. Discuss the main arguments for this statement and give your own opinion.

Since, the number of animals, as well as human lives, which are taken in many blood sports, is on the rapid increase these days, banning of such is put forwarded by many. I, too, am of the similar opinion with the stated opinion as of the various reasons explained in the following paragraphs.

  1. Government investment in the arts such as music and theatre is a waste of money. The government must invest this money in public services instead.

To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Even though basic amenities such as public service and the entertainment through various art forms have a clear important role in the life of every human being in one way or others, many consider it is a waste, investing of arts and hence should be expended on improving the public services. In this context, Since not all the money disbursed is a waste. I do a partial agreement with the stated statement.

2. Body Paragraphs

A body paragraph is a key factor which determines a Lion’s share of the score. It is, in fact written to explain the reason for your point of view towards the question and explanation of your point of you along with the effect it has on our life or society or anything.

Examples are given at any stage of it to exemplify the point of view of yours and a paragraph conclusion. A summary of all , is mandatory in every paragraph.

Things to be explained in the body paragraphs.

Main Point:- Reason for your point of view, such as agreement /disagreement advantage/ disadvantage, reasons, causes/effects/and solutions.

Effect:- It is the result of the point of view stated. As the effect is the factor that makes something positive or negative, it is one of the mandatory factors to be mentioned.

3.Paragraphs conclusion:-

It is the summary of the whole paragraphs written. But no data should be repeated in the paragraph conclusion, either the main point or the effect. Examples:-It can be written offer any explanation expressed so as to clarify. Sometimes, the example itself can be the main point, explanation or even the effect.

No rule is there mentioning the place, where the examples should be explained or used.

Model Paragraphs:-

The topic of discussion:- Animals rights and need of its exploitation supporting view:- should not be exploited.

Main Point:– Pain and offer effects

i.e:– By considering the pain and after effects, I agree that exploitation should be banned.

Explanation:- Cannot use sedatives cannot prevent side effects and

Why:- for the exact result and further experiments.

Effect:- Many dies suffer, Genetic modification

Example:- Death of 1.5 million rats in the U.S.

Paragraph conclusion:- Taking effects into consideration, should be banned.

Main point: Pain and offer effects

Explanation: No sedative – For the real result

Effect: Death, Genetic Modification

Example: Taking effect in the account.

Severe pain and the offer effects, every animal experiences during the experiments is the factor that makes many to protest against the research and experiments on it Since no sedative or painkillers can be used so as to obtain the actual and effective result of the research and no one is certain about the outcomes of the experiments, many innocent animals , which have the equal rights as of humans , die in extreme pain or end up in genetic modifications, which makes their entire life worse than death.15 thousand rats, which are killed in the U.S.A every year as a part of experimentation is to be considered as a case in point. Therefore, taking the sufferings an animal takes during and offer the research, into account, I too support those who protest the animal exploitation.
