Talk About a Child You Have Met. You Should Say

Sample Answer: Talk About a Child You Have Met

Recently, I encountered a strange situation.  My office posted me at a railway station to help passengers with medical emergencies, and as a part of my posting,

I was monitoring the platforms for potential clients with medical emergencies. There, I saw a child with a buried face without any elders. I approached her with a smile and concern on my face. Initially, she was reluctant to look at me.

Moreover, she was so shy and shivered with fear. After minutes of interaction, I came to the conclusion that I should approach the child helpline. They went with a female police escort to take her to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, we both went to the tea stall nearby and had a warm cup of tea with a couple of biscuits. I felt sad for the poor soul. I saw the same type of case yesterday at the same station. Then, I realized my help to society was just a drop in the ocean.

Part 3: Talk About a Child You Have Met

Question 1: Do many people live with their extended family in your country?

Answer: Nowadays, people live far from each other for employment reasons, so they mostly live alone. Rural people, especially, lack the opportunity to live with their extended family members due to migration to nearby cities and, in some cases, countries for employment.

Question 2: Why do some people live with their extended family in your country?

Answer: It is because nuclear families are easy to manage and less expensive. At the same time, most of us live far from our other family members due to work-related reasons.

Question 3: What Are Some Reasons People Choose to Live with Extended Family?

Answer: Some infamous reasons are quarrels with other family members, which are quite extensive in every extended family. Another reason, as I explained earlier, is employment.

Question 4: What is the importance of grandparents in raising children?

Answer: In developing countries like India, grandparents are the sole responsible persons for their children’s child-rearing. They play a prominent role, from feeding to schooling. They do A to Z regarding children. Without them, it will be havoc. Children are emotionally attached to them as their parents lack time.

Question 5: Do children these days prefer to play indoors or outdoors?

Answer: According to my observation, kids nowadays enjoy being indoors, playing with their mobiles and gaming on consoles. They rarely play outdoors, I guess only when there is a power cut or in some extraordinary circumstances.

Question 6: Do the types of toys children have affect how they play?

Answer: Yes, I completely agree. Toys affect children. Interactive toys, in particular, play a crucial role in the style of play and development of children. For instance, if kids have interactive toys, they engage more in their play than if they have passive toys.

Question 7: What should we encourage in children?

Answer: We should encourage children to question everything around them from childhood onwards. This quality makes them more creative and competent in their lives.
