Sample Answer: Talk About a Place Where You Usually Go to Relax.

I remember that in my first year at university, I visited a local beach outside the city a few hours after finishing my semester exam. It was a nice and peaceful place since I landed in a foreign country.

The reason I visited there was because I didn’t perform well in my first exam as a university student, so I needed a quiet and comfortable place where I would be alone so that I could figure out some academic com back in the coming semester and which techniques could be helpful for me to succeed in my coming semester.

I believe this is not the case for me, but some people also love to visit that local beach because it is less crowded than other popular beaches across the city.

Part 3 Questions: Talk About a Place Where You Usually Go to Relax.

Question 1: Do you think relaxation is essential?

I believe it is very important to everyone. Nowadays, people get tired through various aspects, so in order to regain energy, it is important to get enough time to relax, boost the brain, and prepare for the next workload. Many people in European countries are doing it compared to us in Africa; that’s why our production rate in many economic areas is considered lower than that of those who take time to relax before jumping back into life’s struggle.

Question 2: How can people balance work with personal well-being?

It is very difficult nowadays to balance work and personal well-being because we are driven by the amount of income we receive, so we tend to work hard and ignore our well-being. So soon after our health drops, it is too late to bring it back to its normal range. The number of people suffering from High blood pressure and high sugar levels increases day after day due to the failure to prioritize our well-being.

Question 3: What can the government do to improve the lives of employees?

The government’s hand should bring happiness in this issue, as the authority may give seven days free per month, which must be mandatory for the employees so that they can use that time to cool themselves down. This will not combat the scenario rapidly, but will minimise it as time goes on.

Question 4: What can we do as a society to help employees?

In my country, society is the number one source of stress for many employees as they don’t value their services. For example, in my country, Tanzania, teachers are the one who suffers from mental health issues due to society always complaining that their children are not meeting their parents’ expectations, so they blame and humiliate teachers on Facebook. This escalates workers’ mental issues.

Question 5: What strategies can companies implement to reduce stress in employees?

There are many strategies that can be implemented to minimise the workers’ stress, but reducing the working hours from 9 – 5 to 9 -4 would help the employees have more days to regain their energy and work better. Those three days would be enough for family and friends, so it would bring back the employees’ happiness as it used to be before they became workers.

Question 6: Can relaxation positively affect one’s performance at work?

Yeah, that’s right. Humans’ brains tend to malfunction when they are tired, so giving them enough free time to relax will increase the energy they lose during work days. So when I get a chance to make decisions, I would suggest free time be part of the national weekday, as weekends are out of the year in the Calendar.
