If given a chance, I would like to teach mathematics to people who are struggling. I learnt math at a very young age and have been continuously solving problems for over a decade in school and university. Moreover, there are several situations in work where I need to calculate complex concepts using math.

The school teachers played a vital role in teaching the basics, whereas I got an opportunity to learn advanced mathematics in my college. I always had a wish to conduct math tuitions in my school, and that is not only for my school students but also for the other underprivileged students from the locality. I just need a classroom and a well-planned schedule to organise classes for various aged people. I feel maths is feared among the children and it needs to be looked at from a different perspective.

I feel confident that I would be able to teach them well, as I can explain the concepts using real-life scenarios which are easily understandable by the students. Furthermore, students will be very keen and attain interest in the subject because of the application-oriented training. Finally, I feel they would be self-sufficient in the future to solve any basic calculation in their life and also for students who are meritorious now, and they can go on to master the field and even become better than me. That would be icing on the cake as it is much needed for society.

Sample 2

I have quit skills that I am interested in teaching other people. Here, I would like to talk about among them one skill that I can teach others. I learnt this skill in my college days. When I was studying in the 3rd year of aeronautical stream, one software programme was included in subjects. And it was mandatory for all the students. The software called ANSIS is based on coding and designing virtual 3-D objects. In the beginning, it seemed difficult to learn, but after the teacher taught us, I found it very interesting. I like to design 3D objects based on my imagination.

After the complete course, I think I would teach this skill to other people. I think I have two opinions either join any institute and or teach at home, but my home is small, so I think it’s not comfortable. It would be better if I joined the institute as they have more students and I can teach more people. This skill is important for those students who like to pursue their careers in the mechanical and aeronautical branches. I feel that it is important to get a good job in the machinery industry and also whenever I create the object in software I feel very happy and it gives satisfaction.
