The chart below shows the different levels of post-school qualifications in Australia and the proportion of men and women

The chart given depicts the trends of after school, higher studies of both genders in the year 1999 in percentage category.

The minor women candidate chose a skilled professional diploma, about 10 per cent, but among men, this recorded the highest at 90 per cent. Men had a higher inclination towards the skilled job. On the other hand, women opted for higher studies. They enrolled in undergraduate diplomas, which marked 70 but fell short of completing bachelor’s with 50 and even reduced to 30 when they finished their postgraduate respectively.

Comparatively, men were just about 30 per cent when enrolled for a diploma. However, they can be noticed a 10 per cent increase when they complete their bachelor’s, and by the time they achieve postgraduation, it is 20 per cent.

Regarding completing a Master’s degree, males ranked 60 per cent, while females fell short of 20 per cent.

This bar graph shows that although women choose to do higher studies after school, they still need to achieve the highest qualification compared to their counterparts.
