The Diagrams Show a Structure that Is Used to Generate Electricity from Wave Power

The Diagrams Show a Structure that Is Used to Generate Electricity from Wave Power. Summarise the Information by Selecting and Reporting the Main Features, and Make Comparisons Where Relevant.

Diagram A elaborates on the starting of the conversion of waves into electricity, and picture B elaborates on how water waves have been thrown out after the conversion of electricity.

Overall, the process follows some steps to generate electricity from the waves. The process starts by storing the wave in the chamber and finishes by releasing the wave.

The first diagram shows that the waves entered the chamber from the lower end of the machine. After that, the air which is present in the wave is moved forward towards the turbine. The turbine has a fan which revolves in a clockwise direction and is attached between the centre of the columns. The air moves outside while passing from the turbine and columns, and this method generates electricity, which is shown in the bulb attached to the left side of the rotor.

Diagram B shows that the air enters by the routes of columns and passes from the turbine, which creates pressure and that pressure helps to draw the water wave outside of the machine.
