The graph below gives information on the population of turtles in India from 1980 to 2012

The provided line chart illustrates—the data about the living number of turtles in India between 1980 and 2012.

The most striking feature of the chart is that Olive Ridley got more number throughout the given period, whilst Leatherback turtles increased in 1986 but decreased after that.

A fleeting glance reveals that all species and Green turtles followed almost the same trend. In 1980 the number was 100 for both, however, in 1986 All Species got the highest of 110, at the same time Green turtles also got highest of 107. Nevertheless, the number was uneven after that, and at the end of 2012, they received almost less than 110 and 90, respectively.

A glance at the chart reflects that Olive follows Ridley, and Leatherback follows the reverse trend. They started from 100 in 1980 and almost the same up to 1986, about 110. After that, Olive Ridley kept Rosen while Leathe’s back significantly fell and ended at 130 and 55, respectively.
