Overall, it can be seen that airline travel in 1980 was generally low, and dragon air did not travel by air at all during the period, while 20 years later, this airway, Malaysia Airlines and Singapore airway saw the highest number of travel per week followed by Japan and Korean air. All other flights during the period were low.
In 1980, Singapore airways saw the highest and were the most populous airline flown to hong kong witnessing 16 flights per week. This is followed by Japan Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines and Korean Air, each having a total number of flights of less than 13 per week. Cathay Pacific was eight, and Canadian air was the lowest and least flown, witnessing two weekly flights.
Conversely, in 2000, the use of flights increased significantly and was more popular; people preferred Singapore airways, thai airways, and Malaysia Airlines more to be flown to Hong Kong than any other flight, with each experiencing about 45 flights per week, while Korean air saw 23 outnumbering Cathay Pacific with seven flights per week. Dragon air witnessed ten flights from none in 1980, and Canadian air remains low, witnessing just three flights increase in the last 20 years.
