The bar graph below shows the choice of different gender and group of age toward the music albums in Britain.

The information is given in the form of a percentage, and overall it is seen that age between 24-36 is more interested in music than other category and senior citizens over 45+ are rated low in all these categories.

Pop music is famous among the age of 25-34 with above 30%. In addition to it, the younger between 16 to 24 age also rated higher with almost 30%. The male is almost as same as 34-44 old having the percentage of around 25. Females are not interested much as resulted in they rated only around 20% whereas, people who aged over 45 rated half of the female. Rock music follows the same as pop music with no change.

All are reaming constant. However, choosing the music as classical music the aged people with above 45 selected highest than other with 20% whereas 25-34 age group rated almost 2% only. 15 % of a youngster between 16- 24 selected classical music whereas males selected half of this 15%.

  1. The given charts enumerate the percentage of pop, rock and classical music album purchasers based on their sex and age group in Britain. Overall, men were dominant music album purchasers in every kind of music genre.
    As can be clearly seen from the graph, the proportion of males purchasing Pop music and Rock music albums is three times higher than that of females buying classical music albums. Females buy most of the Rock music album, about 19%, followed by Pop and Classical with 17% and 7% respectively.
    Likewise, Figures for buyers aged from 16 to 44 years old have a similar level in the pop and rock music categories. In pop music, the percentage of male listeners is higher than that of females, at 28% and 19% respectively. The 25-34 years old group is the highest proportion for Pop and Rock, becoming the most widely-bought music albums in all ages. Similarly, Pop and Rock music albums are the most popular album genre among 35-44 year olds. By contrast, over 45 years old group classical music most and they purchase 20% music albums of this music type
