The Internet has converted the way information is conveyed and used, but it has also introduced challenges that had never existed before. The invasion of the Internet has brought many problematic consequences, such as online scamming, and a viable solution is to establish strict laws.
The Internet has increased the variety of online activities, which has led to an increase in people being scammed. The discovery of the Internet has brought the world together as one village, making it easy for residents of different continents to do business. Scammers exploit the Internet to steal money from people by pretending to be business owners. For example, my friend was scammed by online individuals who claimed to sell the cheapest iPhone, convincing my friend to send money. After they received the payment, they blocked my friend.
The government must implement a robust law to monitor all online activities. Because when there is a law, it will give the government the power to secure all online movement and remove immediately people who have shown signs of scamming before they have been stealing. A good example of this has occurred in my home country, where the parliament has introduced an online law requiring all online businesses to fill out their details. As a result, the scenario of using the Internet has decreased.
To recap, the problems resulted from the way information is shared and consumed on the Internet, which is crowded with online scammers. Strict law enforcement is a viable solution.
