Question 1:- What do you do

I am a professional mechanical engineer. Currently, I am a mechanical project manager at ABC Industries. On the weekend, I love to do charitable work as a teacher for poor students.

Question 2:- What is the most important part of your job?

There are some stages or steps to complete the project after settling down all the machine parts and when the final commissioning of the final output product is done. I love to do this.

Question 3:- Do you work with other people or alone?

A new machine setup is not possible alone. We work as a team, preparing a schedule and following it to complete the tasks on time.

Question 4:- What do you like about your job?

I really enjoy teamwork and devising strategies with colleagues to complete projects on time. The final result after struggling to complete given tasks is a different taste of work.

Rework: In my field of work, reworking calculations is a very time-consuming task. If my joiner made a mistake in the calculation work, he needs to do all the rework again. I wouldn’t say I like to do this task.

It is not like I chose a different job for my academic studies. It was my childhood dream to become an engineer.

Question 7:- Do you work long hours?

Yes, sometimes, when the project is delayed or the machine has a problem, I work long hours to complete the work on time and fix the problems.

Question 8:- Do you think work-life balance is important?

Yes, of course, professional life and personal life have their own importance. After a long day at the office, I never discuss office work at home or with family members. Once I return home, I love to spend time with children.

Question 9:- What is your journey like to and from work?

Every day, handling different challenges. The final out gives me happiness.

Question 10:- What is your dream job?

Actually, I am doing my dream job. Of course, after completing one dream, it is human tendency to look for a better opportunity. The same is true for me; I am looking for a higher post or position in the company.
