Sample 1: You Have a Complaint About the Hotel You Stayed at While Attending a Meeting Booked

Dear Mr Maik

I am writing this letter from AQ Maritime Company; we stayed in your Hotel Double Hilton Hotel, Dubai and attended the conference that was held last week.

We faced a couple of inconveniences during our stay at the hotel. Firstly, the rooms were not properly cleaned, and there was no kettle or toiletries in the rooms and washroom, which was a little difficult to manage. Secondly, no vegetarian food was served to us during our stay, and when we asked for it, the house helps informed us that vegetarian food was not included on the menu. Many colleagues ordered food from outside.

I would like to request that you please keep a proper check of hygiene in the rooms. Additionally, add a vegetarian section to the menu so that no one can face an issue with food.

I hope you will consider the above points.

Looking forward to hearing from you on the above matter

Best Regards

Dear Manager,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at The Radisson Hotel during the sales meeting organized by IELTSFever Private Limited on 25-Feb-2023.

The meeting itself was well organized, and the discussions held were insightful, helping us to better understand our targets and strategy for the coming year. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in and contribute to these important discussions.

However, I encountered a few concerns during my stay at The Radisson Hotel that I believe need to be addressed. Firstly, the room I was assigned had recurring issues with both lighting and electricity, which caused significant inconvenience during my stay. The lighting was inconsistent, frequently dimming and flickering, and the electrical outlets were intermittently non-functional. This made it challenging to carry out routine tasks such as charging devices, using room amenities, or even reading comfortably.

Additionally, several chairs in the hotel’s meeting room were broken or unstable. This presented not only discomfort but also a potential safety issue for those attending the meeting. Lastly, I was rather disappointed with the staff’s behaviour at the hotel. They were less accommodating and courteous than expected, making the overall experience less satisfactory. While I understand that these matters are primarily the hotel’s responsibility, I believe it is important for IELTSFever to be aware of these issues as they may impact future event planning.

My suggestion is to communicate these concerns to The Radisson Hotel management, urging them to rectify these problems immediately. It might also be beneficial for IELTSFever to consider alternative venues for future meetings should the hotel not take appropriate action to ensure better service.

I believe that addressing these issues will contribute significantly to the overall experience of staff attending future meetings or events. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I look forward to discussing these matters further if necessary.

Best regards,

Manpreet Singh
