The article mentions that the Golden Temple is located in the middle of the city’s “Lilly Lake.” However, this is incorrect. The Golden Temple is surrounded by a sacred water body known as the Amrit Sarovar. This holy pool is central to Sikh religious practices and is maintained with utmost reverence. Referring to it as “Lilly Lake” undermines its cultural and spiritual significance.
It is crucial for your magazine to provide accurate information, as readers from across the world rely on your publication for authentic travel insights. Incorrect facts can not only confuse potential visitors but also disrespect the local culture and traditions. Misinformation about such a prominent landmark may negatively impact your magazine’s credibility.
I kindly request you to issue a correction in your next edition and include an accurate description of the Amrit Sarovar. Additionally, a brief note acknowledging the oversight would demonstrate your commitment to quality journalism and respect for your readership.
