You Have Just Returned Home After Living with A Family in An English-Speaking Country for Six Months

You have just returned home after living with a family in an English-speaking country for six months. You now realise that you left a small bag of personal possessions in your room.

  • Write to the family describing the things you left behind.
  • Ask them to send those items to you.
  • Offer to cover the cost.

Dear Sir,

My name is Rossy, I hope you all are well, and I am writing this letter to express my concern regarding what was left in a piece of luggage at your home. First of all, I would like to share my happiness that I was accommodated last for a quarter in your home, and it was a lovely time to spend with all of you as I learned English in depth. To embark on, I draw attention to the fact that I dropped off a bag where I was supposed to put my luggage in the room. Furthermore, the appearance of the bag colour is black with a handle and also two zip on the outer part of the bag.

Here I would like to request you courier the bag to my address which I will mention below. Apart from that, please share the cost of the post so that I can reimburse all the charges, including your fuel cost. However, I apologize for making you a bit busy. My personal documents are inside my bag, which I will need for the interview.

Kindly post a courier as soon as possible, it leads to attending an interview next week, so it is important to have documents with me.

Eagerly waiting for your reply and hope to receive the bag within a week so I can proceed with my job.

Yours faithfully,
