I am writing this letter to inform you about my misplaced identification card and my concerns regarding it.
To explain in detail, I am pursuing my final year in arts and communication at your esteemed lake view college. Owing to my final year thesis submission, off late, I have been working late hours in the central library, which can be accessed only through our id cards. However, two-days before after a long day of research in the library I have noticed the identification card has been missing.
Furthermore, I have taken up this issue to the librarian as well as my faculty head to seek an immediate solution. I was disappointed to learn that we cannot enter the library, nor the college without a valid id card. Besides, I did a thorough search of my college belongings at home and published in the news portal of the college.
It would be appreciated if you can provide me with a new id card as it’s severely affecting my project along with attendance.I would be grateful if you can permit me to the college by issuing a pass for time-being as I have my internal exams next week.

This is Lyz, a 3rd year student in the faculty of medicine. I am allowing myself to contact you regarding my student card identification. Unfortunately, I lost it while i travelled by train from Paris to my hometown.
This being said, I am unable to attend some of my courses requiring my ID number for online registration; nor I can enter the library and borrow some books for my study.
Also I am not eligible anymore to profit from the students’ privileges and discounts in restaurants, bookshops, cinemas and theaters, scientific websites subscriptions…
If you please will have the generosity to issue, as soon as possible, a new card of mine, it will be perfect.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
