You Missed Attending a Friend’s Invite: GT Writing Task 1

You Missed Attending a Friend’s Invite GT Writing Task 1

You missed attending a friend’s invite. Write a letter to your friend:

Dear Guri,

How are you? Thanks for inviting me to your birthday party. I’ve been waiting for it for an extended period. But I could not attend it for some reasons, and I believe you’ll cool down after getting what happened on the day.

First, I am extremely sorry for being absent from your party. You know well that I was more excited for this auspicious day. I felt bad for not attending it. It was a great chance to meet you and our old friends.

Moreover, you’ll be surprised to know how many times I have tried to make a call to you, and even I sent voice messages so that you can later or sooner listen to them. I think you might not have checked your emails, and I did everything to make you know about it.

To be honest, you’ll be over the moon to know that I’ve made a plan to change your mood. Next month, at the weekend, I’ll be arriving to meet you at your home with my life partner. Therefore, it is going to be an excellent day for us and we’ll visit a cafe where we’d spent quality time together, and a visit to Golden Temple will fill a pleasant fragrance in our relationships.

Eagerly waiting to meet you soon.
Yours Loving,
