You Recently Took an Ielts Test , and Some Problems You Believe Affected Your Score GT Writing Task 1

You recently took an IELTS test, and some problems you believe affected your score. Write a letter to the British Council or IDP. In your letter:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am Ankitha, a software engineer. I took the IELTS examination on 30 May in Anna Nagar, Chennai. I received my results four days later, which was on 3 June. I am writing this epistle to bring to your notice that the scores were not up to my expectations, and I anticipate that there could be a chance of errors.

Let me briefly expound on the issue. After my examination, I reviewed the reading section questions with my tutor and received a band 9. However, when the results were published, I was flabbergasted to see that I got only a seven-band.

Furthermore, I discussed with my companions and other peers who took the test on the same day and at the same venue. Their scores are also impacted similarly and did not receive the desired bands in the reading section.

Therefore, I request you to reevaluate or review our scores once again for candidates who appeared for the exam on the same day and at the same location. We believe there could be some glitches in the software for publishing the results. This band change impacts our career tremendously since we can receive offer letters from prestigious universities.

Thank you for your consideration, and hope to hear from you soon.

Yours faithfully,
