Your Child Is Going Away on a School Trip

Your child is going away on a school trip for three days to another country. The headteacher wants some parents to join the trip and would like to go. Write a letter to the headteacher. In your letter:

Say why you would like to go.
Suggest what you could do to help during the trip.
Ask some more questions about the trip.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing in response to your letter in which you asked some parents to visit overseas on a school trip for 3 days, and I would like to show my interest in this trip.

To be honest, due to telecommuting, now I have much flexible time, and I remain mostly free at weekends. In addition, I have a business tour to Canada, and fortunately, it happens on the same date as you have mentioned from 1st June to 4th June.

You would be enthralled to know that it will be of great assistance to you if I go with you. Firstly, I can arrange your accommodation in a reputed and well-maintained hotel at a cheaper rate. In addition, I will try to include your transportation in the package so that you can have a safe and secure visit. Besides, I would be there to help you at any cost.

Would you be kind enough to tell me what things I needed to carry with me and how much will be the total expenditure on this trip? Furthermore, would the journey start in the early morning, or will the children be brought to the school?

I would be grateful if you could supply me above mentioned information. If you need any information, then do let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Yours Faithfully,
