Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am Khushbu Mehta who is currently working in the IT department of the consulting function. I am writing this letter to express my concern about the lack of parking facilities for the employees as well as visiting guests who are usually our prestigious clients. Although the company has many employee benefits and a healthy work culture, finding parking around the office premises is still a major problem for everyone.
Nowadays, the majority of employees prefer travelling to work in their private vehicles to using public transport services since the pandemic. Since there is no parking space, people are forced to use shared transit services, which they feel unsafe as one may increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. Moreover, we have clients mostly commuting by car, and it is quite time-consuming for them to find a parking spot. As our business is expanding, the number of visitors is also increasing. Hence, this problem should be addressed soon and cannot be neglected.
Having no parking lots in our office premises have caused a severe problem. For which I would like to make some recommendation on how we can address this issue and resolve it. Initially, we can restructure the office department location to make some parking space for the visitors, giving them the first preference. Eventually, we can raise this concern to the higher authority of
municipal corporation to allocate some reserved spaces to be used as parking areas.
