Question 1:- Do you live in a house or an apartment/flat?
Answer 1:- As is common here, In Surabaya, we have a large place for housing, so people here prefer to have or rent a house rather than an apartment. That’s why I live in a house right now.
Answer 2:- Well I live in a big house, and it is beautifully designed by architecture. It has a garden as well as a garage.
Question 2:- Can you describe the place where you live?
Answer 1:- Briefly, my home is located on a small street. Just in front of my house stands a starfruit tree, so the air outside is fresh. My home wall is painted violet, which is kind of a peaceful colour.
Answer 2:- Well, I live in a city, and it is not very congested. Moreover, there are beautiful places to visit like Wonderland Park, Museum, library as well as a theatre, so people don’t need to go outside for shopping as well as for roaming.
Question 3:- What do you like about living there? What do you like about your flat?
Answer 1:- There is a lot I love about my house. I felt relaxed when I stayed there due to facilities that I was really comfortable with, such as we have medium room for family room, bathroom, and bedroom, even we have washer there, so living would become easier. We also have a really nice sized patio, with several plants that produce fresh air, it’s good for my health.
Answer 2:- I love the park as well as the theatre in my city because these two places are frequently visited by me. The park has tracks, swings as well as good sitting arrangements, where I spend most of my time in the lap of nature, and I relax, and in a theatre, I like to watch movies, which are the latest ones.
Question 4:- Which is your favourite room in your home? Why?
Answer 1:- I really like my living room the most, because in this place all of the family members gather to listen to our favourite music there and we will catch up with each other, with a few snacks also available to entertain guests who come to our house.
Answer 2:- Well my favourite room is the living room, which I beautifully decorated by hanging beautiful sceneries of nature as well as I spent most of my time with my family and enjoyed a cup of coffee in the morning as well as in the evening time. This is the place where I have kept some flower pots to beautify it.
Question 5:- Which room does your family spend the most time in?
Answer 1:- Well, actually, my family spends our time together mostly in the living room. In this place, we can enjoy a harmonious atmosphere. We always try to keep “family time” as something we cannot go a day without, since for us, family bonding is important.
Answer 2:- As I told in the above-mentioned question that most of the time my family spend in the living room because it has a natural setting like flower pots are there so by seeing at those beautiful flowers especially when they bloom really helps us in getting relaxation as well as watching television and doing gossips with each other.
Question 6:- What can you see from the windows?
Answer 1:- Just in front of my house stands a starfruit tree. It can be seen from the window. I usually open the window to enjoy the fresh air from it.
Answer 2:- Well I see a beautiful Park in front of my window. The scene of the sun rising and sunset develops in me poetic characteristics, and I release my stress by writing poems. So it has a beautiful scene, whenever I open my window and enjoy the natural scenery.
Question 7:- Would you change anything about your home? Why/why not?
Answer 1:- Yeah, honestly, it’s been a long time since I did repairs in my home; from a far place, my home paint is worn out. I would want the walls to be painted in bright colours all around the house, arrange the furniture with some luxury interior as well.
Answer 2:- Surely I would bring some changes to my garden by cultivating more flower trees which are imported from overseas, and I have seen those flowers at my friend’s home. So I would like to cultivate those and will give a u-shape to my garden. Last but not least, the provision of a slide in the garden is the first priority of mine for my child so that we can spend plenty of time there.
Question 8:- Would you like to move to a different home in the future?
Answer 1:- Yes, if I were given a chance, I would buy a huge house with a large yard. I would like my house to be a bit bigger since I like archery, but there’s no space to do it right now.
Answer 2:- As the future is unpredictable, I have made very strong plans to move Overseas. So if I get successful, then I wouldn’t hesitate to move to a new home. I would like to decorate that one in the same manner as I have decorated the house where I am currently living.
Question 9:- What sort of accommodation would you most like to live in?
Answer 1:- I would like to live in a place which is located in a suburb near the sea, neither too far from nor too close to the hustling-bustling of the big cities, surrounded by mesmerizing ocean landscape and I could enjoy the beautiful sunset from the seashore.
Answer 2:- I would like to live in a house, but if circumstances compel me to live in a flat, then I can adjust well because I am very flexible. I can adjust according to the circumstances. Although I have to face difficulties while living in a flat from a house, I am capable of managing that also.
