At the outset, parents are responsible for the upcoming of the child. To elaborate, they work round the clock to earn more money so that they can provide a safe and better future for their child. Whatever the qualities they will teach in their child, the child will imbibe them. Children do so as they follow their parents blindly. Therefore, if anything wrong happens to their child, then guardians must punish them physically. As a result, a small mistake committed by a child would not turn into a blunder. So, caretakers must punish their children to modify their behaviour. For example, suppose a young one commits the mistake of picking the pocket of others or using abusive language with others. In that case, a verbal warning cannot bring a desirable change in his/her behaviour. Only physical punishment can do a lot, and young ones will avoid repeating that thing. So, physical punishment becomes mandatory for parents to their child to teach him or her a lesson.

So, it is obvious that closeness with a child of their parents can deter the children from doing wrong, and physical punishment will not let them repeat their mistakes.
