Because of the global economy, many goods including what we use as daily basics produced by other countries have to be transported for a long distance. To what extent do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In contemporary days, we do not belong to the big planet earth. We belong to a small village and everything is available everywhere. There is a number of merits but, some demerits of transporting goods over a long distance.

To begin with, the global market is good for every nation with the help of it, all people can taste a variety of things from all parts of the world as well as, companies easily but new products of related of medical, health, beauty and many more. For example:- some years ago Indian folks do not know about the foreign brands but, with the help of new technology, they easily know about it and, purchase different sorts of things of top brands like as:- shoes of reeboks, Nike, Adidas and so on. Moreover, many people get employment in this field. Small businesses have a chance to expand globally and, it increases the overall economy of the country. Finally, it helps in developing good relations between other nations as well as, international co-operation and peace also increase.

On the drawback side, importing goods can have a negative effect on local culture. All folks know about Chiana and Japan mostly imported the food has become more popular than traditional as well, a local producer and people avoid their own healthy and traditional food which is not good for everyone. Furthermore, the pollution level is also increasing day by day because of export and import is growing up per day and, when goods are transported one nation to others so, that use road, water, and air transports which are not good for the environment.

In conclusion, importing goods has merits and demerits but, advantages outweigh in contrast to, disadvantages.
