Sample Answer of Describe a Situation When You Had to Be Friendly With Someone You Dislike

Well, it happens many times, when people have to pretend to be friendly with those persons with whom they have not good bonding. So similarly happened to me when I had to pretend to be outgoing with my sister-in-law’s friend. Actually, she had been our common friend. Now she is only in contact with my sister-in-law, but I have no good bonding with her. Let me tell you what happened. Actually, my sister in law had booked two tickets to watch a movie in a theatre. However, due to some reasons, my sister in law was not able to go. So my sister-in-law offered me to go with her.

Although I also knew her as she had been one of our common friends, with the passage of time, I was not on speaking terms with her. But this was the time when I had to do it for the sake of my sister-in-law because I loved my sister in law very much, so I agreed and when we were watching a movie.

We didn’t talk to each other even she didn’t ask me any kind of question. We were behaving as if we had been strangers to each other. So in this way, I thought, I had spoilt my day, and the same was with her. After a long interval, she broke the ice by saying that she didn’t like to watch a movie.

Actually, I had developed my interest, and I didn’t want to leave the movie unfinished. But I had to leave for the sake of my sister in law. I couldn’t explain in words that how I spent the whole day with her. But I got understood that sometimes people had to be polite with those persons with whom they have personal grudges. But I had no other option. So that was the time when I had to be outgoing with the person whom I didn’t like.
