Sample Answer: Describe a Time when You Were in A Public Place and You Overheard a Stranger Talking on The Phone
I remember well that last year, in July, I went to the bank to pay my university school fees. There was this person who entered the bank talking loudly over the phone. He looked disturbed, and I knew that there was something which was not okay with him. I tried listening to him, but he appeared to have lost money from his bank account.
He seemed to be calling a friend seeking assistance. Before he even finished talking, the security officers approached him and Directed him out of the bank.
In Kenya, it is always a rule that phone calls are not allowed in the bank. They are normally sent out of the bank whenever someone breaks this law. Personally, I think that people should always obey the rule of law to avoid finding themselves in problems with law enforcers.
Part 3 Questions: Describe a Time when You Were in A Public Place and You Overheard a Stranger Talking on The Phone
Question 1: Should educational institutions set the length of workdays?
In my opinion, educational institutions should set the length of workdays, for example, from 8 a.m. In the morning, it will be from 5: 00 p.m. This will help the employees arrive at the workplace at the required time and ensure that they are doing the right thing in the workplace. Another advantage of setting the length of working time is, for example, the students need to be given time to rest because they also get tired. You will find that some institutions teach from early morning to late evening. Students in such schools get tired to the extent that they can’t read independently.
Question 2: What are the reasons that people break the rules?
People normally break rules because they are ignorant of the rules that have been set for them. Secondly, some of them break the rules because they are not aware of those rules.
Question 3: Under what situations might kids break the rules and still be forgiven?
Most children find themselves breaking the rules when they’re playing. They can go beyond the limit set for them, therefore finding themselves in problems. In this situation, kids would be forgiven since the mistakes were made accidentally.
Question 4: How would people be punished in your country when they break the rules?
In my country, offenders are taken to court, and if found guilty, they are either asked to pay a fine or taken to prison for a given period of time.
Question 5: Do you believe that offices should have strict policies?
My take is that offices should not set strict policies since this makes people work with fear, which will affect their performance. I think that people should be given the freedom to work without fear and hence achieve the required productivity.
