Sample 1:Describe an Activity that Helps You Achieve Your Goal in Life

I believe in having short-term goals in life and trying to achieve the target with dedication and determination. Although I set many goals in life, one that I am going to talk about is related to my profession, and it has been in the back of my mind for several years now is to complete supply chain certification from ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management).

Owing to being part of the IT industry where my role is to be a Supply chain consultant who helps various ERP companies to have seamless supply chain management in IT, it becomes quite important to be aware of the basics of SCM, and that is what my short-term goal is for now.

Initially, I plan to start with learning the foundation of supply chain management by attending online courses, as it is considered helpful in clarifying its terminologies and comprehensible. Hence, I will enroll in online programs or perhaps take the help of online sources to learn it on my own. Fortunately, many colleagues from my office have also appeared for this exam and got certified, so their guidance would be quite useful.

Earlier, I had wished to appear in the mid-year; however, due to unforeseen circumstances at home, I made up my mind and registered for the exam scheduled at the end of the year. Since this exam is bi-yearly, even if I don’t clear in the first attempt, I can appear in the second attempt, but it will have some extra charges.

Supply chain management is important because it can help achieve several business objectives. One of the objectives is to get practical experience in understanding the fundamentals of the supply chain. It covers everything from the demand strategy, the distribution network, procurement, sales, marketing, etc.

The best way to do that is to gather as much knowledge as possible and update yourself with new trends. I am sure after gaining knowledge, I will get a plethora of opportunities in companies managing complex supply chain networks to provide solutions to their pain points.

Sample 2:Describe an Activity that Helps You Achieve Your Goal in Life

Everybody has some specific role in their life, and I am one of them. And also, I am very passionate about my goals. So today I would like to talk about the special goal which is to remain fit actually what happened was that during my co-domination I stayed at home and did nothing, so at that time my weight was too much increased.

So all my family members and my friends advised me to do some basic exercise on a daily basis. So, after everyone forced me to exercise, I got up early and went into the park. In the park, there is a beautiful jogging track.

I almost walk on it for 30 minutes after that, and there is a lot of physical equipment there, so exercise is beneficial for me because it’s fast, free of cost and very good for our health.

At this point, I started to avoid junk food. I burn midnight oil to reduce my weight, and I think in 2 to 3 months, I will definitely do it.

Actually, I want to lose weight because it’s very good for my health because the best is to create too many problems for me like depression and some anxiety problems and also my health is very big compared to my past so I think that it’s a best achievable goal in my life.

Part 3 Questions: Describe an Activity that Helps You Achieve Your Goal in Life

Question 1:- Should parents set targets for children?

Answer 1. believes parents should not themselves set goals but should encourage children to set their own goals; it will be unfair to set goals for them. Parents and children should talk about their goals so that the parents know what their children are capable of doing and how they can expose their children to some activities so that they get to identify their interests, which can help them achieve their goals.

Answer 2. In my opinion, I think it depends upon the age of the child. If the child is too small, I think parents should help them to target their goal, but on the other hand, if a child is mature enough, I think parents should give this opportunity to the kid so that he or they will learn how to handle difficult situations.
