Every time I feel things are not going well in my life, I just go and visit my parents for a day or two. When I visited home, I felt as good as I did in my childhood, and the good thing is that I walk in the same city where my parents live, so it’s easy for me to pay them a visit frequently.
Most of the time we used to talk about life and they advice me not to rush anything In this life because most people who rushed things in the end they got loss, they tell me to pray and to stick in long goals as this life doesn’t end tomorrow I have to live my life by thinking after ten years and not tomorrow.
To be honest, I felt good. As you know, parents have been through a lot, so they know many things that we believe we do, but in reality, we know nothing about them. By listening to them, I realised it helped me in my life situation.

Question 1:- How do people have a conversation with an elderly person?
In my culture, you will see only younger people having conversations with older people if they want advice on something, or their things have just gone sideways, so they decided to go and seek a way to overcome the situation. Otherwise, you will never see a younger generation sitting with elders.
Question 2:- What can young people learn from old people?
We, the younger generation, learned a lot from our old folks, as their words guided us on many aspects of life, such as married life, especially in how to raise a family, and on how to overcome life stress and become successful in all aspects of life.
Question 3:- Do you think old people can work better than young people?
It depends on what kind of work, so honestly, I give a green light to older people when it comes to the work that is surrounded by pressure because they have good experience on how to handle work-related pressure so they can overcome the situation but us younger generation we can panic and accelerate the problem to become more worse.
Question 4:- What are the advantages of having people of different ages living in the same house?
Living with older people in one house has a lot of benefits. However, the biggest one is that they will still parent us every day, as when they notice something is not going well, they correct us immediately before the situation worsens and becomes irreparable.
Question 5:- Has old people’s life quality improved when compared to the past?
Based on African society, older people’s lives have become better in this century, as in the past, there was no care house for older people, so they were living a bad life, but now there are many caregiver facilities across the continent, so that they can get good care.
Question 6:- Do old people share the same interests as young people?
Not because older people and younger people have different tastes in life, but because popular things in the past are different from those in today’s world, so they can’t have common interests.
