Sample Answer: Describe Someone Else’s Room You Enjoy Spending Time In

As much as I enjoy my room, I like spending time in my parents’, siblings ‘, and friends’ rooms. However, I would like to discuss the one I love most: my mother’s room. My family and I live in a four-bedroom apartment: one for my father, one for my mother, and two for my siblings and me.

My mum’s room is at the centre of the house, and other parts of the building are easily accessible from it, which is one of the reasons I like spending time in this room. The room is the only space in the house with only a window; the other bedrooms have 2 windows.

It’s slightly larger than a standard room because my father asked the architect to make it bigger so there would be enough space for Mum to keep plenty of clothes. The room has a three-sided wardrobe with a standing mirror between the three sides. The wall is painted cream, while the ceiling is white.

The floor is tiled in light brown tiles. In the room are a 75*72*10 orthopaedic bed, a wooden table and chair, a sofa near the bed, a shoe rack, and a bag hanger. The room has its own toilet and bathroom, and about 4 bulbs of different colours light it. I enjoyed spending time in the room because it is quiet, well-ventilated, and well-lit.
