Families Who Send Their Children to Private Schools Should Not Be Required to Pay Taxes That Support the State Education System. To What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree With This Statement?

Sample Answer Families Who Send Their Children to Private Schools Should Not Be Required to Pay Taxes

Increasingly, more parents are enrolling their children in private schools rather than sending them to public schools. Some people have an opinion that such parents should not pay education tax to the government. I completely agree with the statement, and my inclination is justified in the following paragraphs.

To begin with, it is not the responsibility of guardians to compensate the administration for education charges at private education centers where their children are taught. This is because they already pay higher fees than those attending public schools. Furthermore, these fees also cover the management charges necessary for the institute’s operation. As a result, private teaching centers do not require any government funding to establish their education systems. Hence, it is obvious not to pay at a place from which people get nothing in return.

Furthermore, students from non-government schools do not receive the facilities provided to government students by the authorities. For example, not only are free books not given to private students by the administration, but school uniforms are also not provided. Therefore, their parents have such responsibilities on their shoulders. To reduce excessive financial burden, some people advise them to avoid tax payment that strengthens the education system.

In conclusion, due to the economic burden of expensive fees at private schools, parents who cannot afford them should not be required to pay literacy tax. In my opinion, it may be beneficial for the further development of children by saving money through tax deductions.
