They don’t have to spend time on going to shops or in finding car parking. Secondly, eCommerce companies offer a lot of discounts online, hence making the products cheaper than their retail prices.

In many ways credit cards are good, but there are some disadvantages also.

* Firstly, you can use them practically everywhere, even overseas.

* They provide financial backup in the event of an emergency, such as an unexpected healthcare cost, job loss or auto repair. For instance, if a person is on a holiday and has a medical emergency, he will have no problem in paying the hospital bills.

* Credit cards allow you to purchase and pay off items in monthly installments.

* They also offer discounts and rewards at stores. For instance, when you make purchases using the credit card you can collect points, which accumulate and can be used to get free items, such as airline tickets. Some cards may offer cash back as an incentive to use the card.

* They can help build your credit history. A person with a good credit history does not face problems when applying for a loan for any reason.

* Credit cards also keep a record of your expenses, helping you to monitor your financial activities.

* The most dangerous part of credit cards is not paying them off on time, and once you fall behind by one payment late fees, interest, and penalties build very fast because of which many people find themselves sunk in credit card debt with no way out.

* Another big disadvantage is the hidden costs. There is the start-up fees and processing fees and also the annual fees, which is quite an amount.

Because of globalization, online shopping has become very popular. Even in malls all foreign brands are available. So globalization has in a way revolutionized shopping.

I think, online shopping will become even more popular in the future.

I think it’s really hard to decide which one is better because both of them offer their unique advantages. For example, online shopping provides you the comfort of ordering anything in the world with just a click of a button. In contrast, retail shopping provides you a great experience and the ability to feel the product before making a buying decision.

People normally pay through their Credit Cards or use Online Banking to make purchases. But nowadays eCommerce companies have also started providing the option of Cash on Delivery, i.e. people can pay when they receive the product
