Question 1:- How many people are there in your immediate family?
Answer:- I am living in a mid family with four other people; my son, My husband, father in law and mother in law. We also have a dog at our house whose name is scooby.
Question 2:- Who do you get on best within your family?
Answer:- I think the family time which we get during Sundays is the best for every one of us. During Sundays sometimes we go outside, and sometimes we watch movies at home together. I would say this is the best thing in our family.
Question 3:- Do you have a large extended family?
Answer:- Not very large, but yes, we three families are close enough, My own family, my sister in law’s family and my brother’s family. We are in constant touch, and it takes time for family get-togethers once a month.
Question 4:- What do you do together with your family?
Answer:- Well, there are so many activities that we do together; on the top of the list is watching movies together in the living area where my mother in law cooks delicious snacks for every one of us. Apart from this, we go out shopping sometimes, and sometimes we go to religious places together.
Question 5:- Why is family important to you?
Answer:- I think there is no fun in living alone; in the family, every person is important to everyone, especially children in the family tend to learn a lot from the grandparents and youngsters need a lot of financial support and health advice from the family. A united family can achieve anything, even in the business and can overcome every obstacle.
Question 6:- Do you do housework at home?
Answer:- Yes, definitely, I believe that I am an avid cook and can make perfect traditional Punjabi food. Not only this, I am very much particular about cleanliness, so I try my best to make sure that things are neat and clean and are in place.
Question 7:- Did you do housework when you were a child?
Answer:- Yes, I belonged to a very middle-class family where we did not have servants during my childhood, My mom used to make chapatis, and it was my duty to serve the family. Apart from this, I was not bombarded with a lot of work because I also had to study hard, and most of the work was done by my mother and grandmother.
Question 8:- Do you think that children should do housework?
Answer:- Yes, I believe children must do household chores, especially their own work, because it’s a need for them to become independent for their own requirements. This is also a good way to remain healthy as nowadays children give a lot of time to tv and mobile games. Rather they need to help their mothers in the kitchen, and it would help both sides.
